Muthumariamman koil is situated at karamana which is about 2 kms from Trivandrum central railway station.Rahukala pooja is one of the famous pooja of this temple.Lemon lamp (Naaraga vilakku) prayers help one for the removal of worries and problems in daily life. Devotees who light lemon lamps with pure devotion gain blessings of Amman. The lemon lamps create a sacred feeling in mind and calmness in life.
The Naaraga Vilakku is performed after the Rahu Kalam Durga pooja on every Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
